Oluyemi Aina, MD
Dr. Aina is a board-certified psychiatrist and sleep medicine specialist who sees patients at both our Sherman and Frisco locations. Dr. Aina listens attentively to patients’ histories, in order to identify the root cause of their struggles and develop a personalized treatment strategy to help them find relief. He treats patients with all types of sleep or mental health challenges, including, but not limited to snoring, sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, depression, ADHD/ADD, anxiety disorder, OCD, PTSD, personality disorders, and addiction. He also does assessments for patients seeking bariatric surgery.

Joyce Mwaniki, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Joyce is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and a board-certified family mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP). She graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing, with a specialty concentration in psychiatric/mental health from the University of Texas in Arlington in 2015. In April 2020, she earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Alabama, Huntsville. She is a member of Golden Key International Society, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA). Joyce has been part of our team at Tri-MED since January 2016, treating patients with all types of mental health

Milka Kamau, MSN, APRN, PMHNP
Milka is a board-certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2016. Subsequently obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatry & Mental Health. Milka is trained to diagnose & treat all mental health conditions, including, depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD & ADD, Bipolar disorder. PTSD, substance abuse & addiction, sleep problems, & impulse control disorders. Her non-judgmental approach helps individuals & families understand that there should be no shame or guilt associated with mental illness.
